BCS Policy Jam – Nov 15, 2023
November 15 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm GMTFree
This month we’ll be taking a closer look at the AI Safety Summit’s Bletchley Declaration. Is the global agreement claimed by the PM around AI encouraging? How do the main parties intend to balance AI safety with creating the conditions that allow the UK to be an AI innovator? These questions and more will be investigated.
Joining us will be representatives/members from the main political parties, who will also reflect on the party conferences and the Kings Speech as we enter the run up to the general election.
Casey Calista chair of Labour Digital
Sarah-Jane Sewell Co Director of Digital Tories
Hannah Shimko, CEO of the Online Dating Association and a member of the Liberal Democrats Party
Hosted by Dan Aldridge, Head of BCS Policy
