2023 Whole Community Training Summit

Please join us on Thursday, November 16th for the 2023 Whole Community Training Summit hosted by the City of Chicago – Office of Emergency Management and Communications (OEMC). This event is the second of a multi-year plan to provide whole community engagement and training for 2022 (Focus: Preparedness), 2023 (Focus: Response), and 2024 (Focus: Recovery). Our objectives are to continue engagement with stakeholders, provide essential training, share best practices, provide a forum for networking, and gain a better understanding of the changing needs of the various sectors. This summit will feature a vendor exhibit area and provide food and beverages to all attendees.Location: NIU Naperville Campus -1120 E. (General Session)4:00pm – ClosingThe Whole Community Training Summit will be offering the opportunity for Continuing Education Hours through Northern Illinois University. The type of CEs offered include Nursing and General CEs. The cost will be a flat $9.00 fee. If you choose to partake in the hours, you will need to complete an online survey at the end of the conference and then send an application and the $9.00 fee to Northern Illinois. You will need to send your application no later than 3 weeks after the conference. Please look for an email that will be sent to you at the conclusion of the conference with a general feedback survey as well as an evaluation survey of each session you attended.Refunds of the ticket price minus Eventbrite fees are available up to 7 days prior to the event – cut-off date is November 8th. After November 8th, no refunds are allowed.
