About the Organizers
Nichole Thompson is the Founder/CEO and Senior Trainer of Altum Solutions, LLC; a disadvantaged, woman-owned business providing a comprehensive range of Program and Project Management consulting services and leadership development training to Government and Commercial programs. With over thirteen years of professional experience in IT operations and project management, Nichole has led several federal agencies and commercial clients through mission-critical business and technological transformations. Those clients include Department of Veterans Affairs, Department of Defense, Social Security Administration, US Marshals Services, and Bank of America to name a few. Nichole has a solid acumen in adult learning theories, organizational behavior and adaptive delivery methods which contributes to her success as an Enterprise Agile Transformation Coach/Trainer who cultivates corporate culture, people, and environments to sustain rapid growth and digital disruption. Nichole has held numerous positions throughout her career, from Operations Analyst, Data Steward, Program Manager, Scrum Master to a highly sought-after Enterprise Agile Coach, giving her the business acumen and practical experience to effectively implement change and guide leaders on modern management practices. Nichole holds her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Liberty University, an MBA with a concentration in Information Systems Management from Strayer University, and is a doctoral candidate at Capella University studying Strategy and Innovation. In addition to a solid educational background, Nichole is a Certified Trainer, Scrum Master, Product Owner, and Developer through ScrumStudy, a Certified SAFe Practitioner Consultant (SPC4) through ScaledAgile.com, and an Authorized Training Partner (ATP) with VMEDu. Nichole is also a member of the DC Chapter National Black MBA Association (NBMBAA) and Women Impacting Public Policy (WIPP), and has most recently joined the I’m Black in Tech network.
