    Event Description

“From Bench to Application” is an educational event that demonstrates the process and relationship between product development, qualification and the consumer application. How does an idea develop into a product that is safe and practical? What are the functions that consumers care about when searching for a product?

Perhaps, most of our jobs have been to focus on one area, either as chemists, regulatory affairs, or
sales/marketing. Whatever our function is, we continue to face many challenges. Often, we find ourselves working with the other departments to resolve product challenges as a team.

Throughout the event, you will hear from our color cosmetics expert, Balanda Atis, Director, US Face and Multicultural Beauty Lab, L’Oréal USA. Francine Walker, Technical Director, Chemical Solutions Ltd., will provide updates on the heavy metal testing and qualification. Karen Dupiche, four-time Emmy Award Winning Makeup Artist from “The View”, will conclude the event with products application and demonstration.
